Mark and Deb Urista of Coldwell Banker Vision have a passion for helping people achieve their real estate dreams. The Uristas started their business in 1995 when they bought an existing real estate agency. They started with six agents and now have 56 agents and five employees. In 1998, Coldwell Banker Vision opened a new facility nearly 10,000 square feet in size. Some of the space is leased out to complementary businesses to create a one-stop-shopping type experience.
"I knew the future in real estate was moving out this way, and I wanted to be part of it," said Mark Urista. Mark got his start in real estate in 1983 in Coon Rapids. He sold real estate for many years and managed a real estate office for three years before going out on his own.
Coldwell Banker Vision has stayed away from opening other offices to keep their focus on one office. Coldwell Banker Vision works hard to provide their agents with the tools and training they need to sell homes.
Coldwell Banker Vision achieved $7.5 million in sales the first year and sales topped $133 million last year.
Mark Urista has been very active in regional, state and national real estate associations. He has been elected to the position of Treasurer for the Minnesota Association of Realtors for 2004. He has served as President (2000), Vice President and Treasurer of the North Metro Realtors Association and makes at least two trips a year to national conventions in Washington, D.C. and at an alternate site.
